Taylor Swift’s “1989” Tour Adds Three U.S. Dates to Next Week’s Tour

Taylor Swift adds more dates to ‘Eras’ tour, including a third show in the L.A. area

Taylor Swift’s “1989” tour has added three U.S. dates to next week’s tour, beginning with a pair of shows in San Francisco and ending Friday in Los Angeles. Swift’s first date in San Francisco on Aug. 26 has sold out in under an hour; the other two concerts in San Francisco, which will also be broadcast on NBC, will be broadcast on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Swift’s first stop in Los Angeles, a pair of shows at the Staples Center Wednesday and Thursday, has sold out, with several hundred tickets still available on Stubhub, the same site where tickets for Swift’s first Los Angeles date sold out within an hour. If you missed out on tickets for Swift’s first two concerts in Los Angeles, you can still get in to the Staples Center by calling 707-963-3000.

“I’m thrilled ’em,” Swift told reporters at the Staples Center, where she joined “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” host Jimmy Fallon. A few minutes later, Swift added: “Thank you for the love.”

The Staples Center’s Thursday shows will have special guest DJ and producer Alesso, who will appear live on the stage in the same blue jumpsuit Swift wore in her second Los Angeles concert Monday.

Also on Aug. 28 and Aug. 29, Swift will add a pair of shows in Salt Lake City and Albuquerque. The Aug. 28 show at The Farm begins at 8 p.m., and the Aug. 29 show at the Xcel Energy Center is at 8 p.m. (The two shows are the only shows on the tour date.)
